French Press
To make Kopi Luwak coffee, follow these steps:
Fill the kettle with the appropriate volume of water and heat it on medium heat until it boils.
Assemble the press plunger while the water is heating.
Grind 2 tablespoons (10g) of whole bean Kopi Luwak coarsely for each 6-ounce cup. Note: 25g of whole bean Kopi Luwak for 13.4-ounce cup.
Preheat the press pot by pouring 4 ounces of hot water into it, swirling it, and then discarding the water.
Add the ground coffee to the empty press pot.
Pour half of the hot water over the grounds, allowing the foam to rise and fall.
Set a timer for 4 minutes and pour the remaining hot water into the pot.
Place the plunger cap on the cylinder and depress the plunger slightly so that the grounds are submerged.
Start the timer and agitate the grounds every minute to prevent clumping and ensure maximum extraction.
At the 4-minute mark, firmly depress the plunger fully.
Pour the coffee slowly to minimize sediment and distribute it evenly among the cups.
